Continuing education

Earn credits, currently provided through AIA, plus a certificate of completion.

  2. Total Leadership & work-life integration

    Integrate work, family, community and self, then work backwards from your vision of the future.

  3. Emotional intelligence

    Four EQ domains, an online self-assessment, and coaching on your areas of opportunity.

  4. Crucial Conversations®

    Tools for high-stakes, challenging conversations, including those that affect underrepresented professionals.

  5. Relationship-centered leadership

    Move from executing projects to leading them, and build trust-based client relationships.

  6. Financial aspects of a practice & project

    How AEC firms operate: ownership models, project financials and compensation, taught by industry CFOs.

  7. Leadership in action

    Firm and practice leaders coach you to shape a personal leadership philosophy and a culture of accountability.

Who it's for

Built for mid-career AEC professionals.

Cohorts are balanced across architecture, engineering and construction so relationships form across all three.

Eligibility

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Commitment to leadership and innovation in AEC
  • Complete online application, questionnaire and resume

Commitment

  • Mandatory in-person attendance at every session
  • Light pre-work: reading, writing and assessments
  • A “Buddy” for accountability between sessions
  • Employers are asked to count time as continuing education
